#5. Neck Pillow






With long flights, the pillow that is included with your seat could be tough to get in the right spot. A neck pillow can fix your neck aches when you want to sleep on the plane. One can be found outside of the airport for under 20$, but the price can easily reach 20$ when buying at the airport. This pairs up nicely with an eye mask and ear plugs.

I have found myself running out of cellphone battery quite quickly during my travels. My power bank has saved myself many times from having to navigating the subway or bus routes. Even a small power bank could save you a lot of trouble. One can be had rather cheap these days. also, make sure your bring a power cable as well.

You can not leave the country without an electrical adapter for your gadgets. Without a universal adapter, you might find yourself not connected with the internet world for the duration of your trip. You can find these cheap on the internet, but test before you put it in your duffle bag. finding out it doesn't work in your hotel room would be a nightmare.

A SIM card can be very important when it comes to cellphone service. Some cell phone companies charge way to much for their "hassle-free" international coverage. I know, you are probably going to spend more than 20$ wherever you might end up. furthermore, 20$ could save you if you are traveling to a country that doesn't accept major credit cards. Don't assume all ATM's work either, some can ever be fraud. The cheapest and easiest way to acquire currency, is through your major bank like Chase or Bank of America for an example.
